HELPING IN THE COMMUNITY

Not only can you help preserve endagered species from the home, there are also plenty of opportunities for helping out in the community.

• Follow the regulations when visiting national parks
• Learn about endangered species in your area. (Maryland Endangered Species Listed Here!)
• Conserve species natural environments by preserving parks and wildlife refuges.
• Visit national parks and conservatories to learn about the environments of endangered species and how they are being protected at those parks.
• Join a group that removes weeds and over growth so species can move back into their natural habitats.
• When visiting parks do not touch or disturb wildlife. Follow the rules that the park ranger tells you. Do not upset and nests, eggs, or other habitats.
