Department of Health Education & Promotions HIV/AIDS Statistics. NAESM. 2001. http://www.naesmonline.org/hiv_aidstats.htm

NAESM stands for the National AIDS education and services for minorities. This website gives very interesting stats about how most of the AIDS victims are minorities and are in developing areas or poor areas in developed nations. Among the black community 75% of the people that have AIDS are men. Stats like these give new light into other peoples views on AIDS.

Long, Philip E. Yale AIDS Watch. 2005. http://www.yale.edu/yaw/world.html>.2008 September 08.

This website is research done by Yale University students and the main page has an interactive map of the world where you can see the different stats by the continents. This map also allows you to click on the continents to open a new page for additional information about AIDS in that continent.

Kaiser Daily HIV/AIDS Report. Across The Nation | Number of AIDS-Related Deaths in Massachusetts Prisons Drops Significantly Since 1995, Experts Say. Sep 16, 2003. http://www.kaisernetwork.org/daily_reports/rep_index.cfm?DR_ID=19885>.2008 September 08.

I used this source because I live in Massachusetts and find it interesting that the number of death related to AIDS has dropped so significantly. It was interesting to see how much of the government money goes towards keeping the inmates safe from AIDS because eventually they will be free and eliminating AIDS from prisons will help lower AIDS around the Boston area and the USA.

Jasper, Cheryl. Until There’s a Cure. Until There’s a Cure Foundation. 2008.http://www.until.org/statistics.shtml>.2008 September 08.

This page is simply a list of recent stats about AIDS and how many people will be affected by this disease if it is not cured. We all know many people have died from this disease but we don’t realize how many more will die if we are unable to find a cure. These stats bring a scary realization about how bad this disease really is because of the growth rate this disease has.

Ransom, Steven. AIDS and Population Control. Conspiracy Planet. 2008. http://www.conspiracyplanet.com/channel.cfm?channelid=34&contentid=181&page=2>.2008 September 08.

This is of course not a valid source however this article has very interesting views on the control of Western nations and their control over AIDS and knowledge of the virus. The author believes that these developed nations are withholding money for AIDS because of the idea that AIDS works as a population control because of its kill rate.
